Stefano Semeria has been working for SRF since 2011, first as Head of Programming TV and currently as Head of Young Target Groups. In the past two years, Semeria and his team have completely realigned the offering for young audiences and so far launched over twenty web series such as "True Talk," "No. 47" and "Zwei am Morge. The plan is for the Young Audiences unit to be incorporated into the Entertainment department within SRF.

Before joining SRF, the future Head of Entertainment founded Allscreenz in Berlin, a consulting and development company for online video and the analysis of digital strategies of international media companies. He also worked as a program planner at ARD, as Head of Program Planning Television ORB/RBB and as Head of International Format Research at ProSiebenSat.1 Media. Stefano Semeria holds a diploma in AV Media Studies from the Film University Potsdam-Babelsberg.

Stefano Semeria in a statement: "Entertainment in the public media house SRF was and is diverse. For the audience, it should remain diverse and relevant. For all age groups. This is a particular concern of mine, especially in times of great changes in media usage behavior and an ever-increasing choice of offerings."

SRF Director Ruedi Matter: "Stefano is a creative and extremely dedicated colleague for whom the interests of the audience always come first. With his team, he has succeeded in creating attractive and relevant content for young people and in familiarizing a new generation of users with SRF. I am convinced that he will master the challenges that SRF, and entertainment in particular, will face. I wish Stefano all the best for his new task."

As previously communicated, the current Head of Entertainment, Christoph Gebel, will continue to be available to SRF in the role of Senior Advisor.
