Compresso strengthens its strategy team with Chris Straumann

With Chris Straumann, the agency Compresso brings an experienced marketing and event professional into its strategy team. Straumann previously held the position of Project Manager Sponsoring at Migros Zurich - Corporate Communications, where he developed and implemented projects in the cultural and sports sector in particular.

The current team, consisting of Suzanne Nievergelt, Karin Gut, Fridolin Stauffacher, Joko Vogel and Andreas Cueni, will be newly supplemented with Straumann as of July 1, 2018. Chris Straumann worked as Senior Project Manager Sponsoring at Migros Zurich - Corporate Communications since 2004. During the past 14 years, the Zurich native played a key role in shaping the company's marketing and event management. For the umbrella brand Migros as well as the Migros Culture Percentage, he developed and expanded various campaigns, partnerships, branding strategies and implemented diverse event projects.

His main projects in the cultural sector included the Sommernachtsball, the collaboration with the Schauspielhaus Zurich or with Salto Natale. In the area of sports, Straumann was responsible for Migros engagements at Weltklasse Zurich, the City of Zurich Sports Awards, the Zurich Football Club, and others. Chris Straumann holds a Master's degree in Marketing & Branding from the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts and previously worked for the companies Amboss Bier Zürich and Mondaine Watch Ltd.
