Seta Thakur is the new Head of Corporate Communications at the NZZ Media Group

Seta Thakur will take over as Head of Corporate Communications at the NZZ Media Group as of June 2018. The 52-year-old succeeds Myriam Käser, who moved to Skyguide.

In her new role, Seta Thakur will be responsible for corporate, marketing and parts of shareholder communications at NZZ Media Group. "With her many years of experience in corporate communications and her leadership skills, Seta Thakur is the ideal candidate for us. I am very much looking forward to working with her," says Jörg Schnyder, Chairman of the Executive Board a.i. of NZZ Media Group.

Until she joins us in June 2018, Seta Thakur will continue to work as Managing Director at öbu, the association for sustainable business. Until the end of 2014, Seta Thakur headed the corporate communications of the Weleda Group for five years. Prior to that, she held various leading positions in communications as well as in the sustainability sector, including at Holcim Group. She gained her first experience in the media industry as a freelance journalist. Among other things, she wrote for the New Zurich Newspaper as well as the Lucerne Newspaper and worked at the press agency InfoSüd.

Seta Thakur studied German language and literature, general history, and economic and social history at the University of Zurich. She holds an Executive MBA from the University of St. Gallen and lives in Zurich.
