Vice Switzerland with new sales structure and expanded management team
Vice Switzerland is starting the new year with a strengthened management team and a new sales structure: Linda Burger, who has been with Vice Switzerland since August 2016, is taking on the role of Head of Commercials and will be part of the newly created "Extended Management Board" of Vice Switzerland.
The 28-year-old will assume responsibility for Vice's digital offerings and the expansion of Vice's "Brand Solutions" unit, which specializes in communication solutions for brands within the medium's digital offering. New to the team is Marcus Martin, who recently joined Vice Digital as Account & Digital Strategy Manager and is responsible for advising media agencies and direct clients. Linda Burger will continue to report to Florian Sonderegger, Managing Partner Vice.
"I am looking forward to the new tasks and the expansion of the team, which will be completed for the time being with the filling of a sales vacancy. In order to meet the increasing demand for creative solutions within our digital offering, we are also looking for reinforcement for "Brand Solutions"," says Linda Burger.
In addition to the sales structure, Vice is also expanding its Management Board. The existing management board of Vice Switzerland with Patrick Viert (Managing Director), Raffael Leu (Managing Partner Virtue) and Florian Sonderegger (Managing Partner Vice) will be strengthened in the form of a newly established "Extended Management Board". The newly formed "Extended Executive Board" of Vice Switzerland includes Christian Brütsch (Head of Client Services, Virtue), Leander Schmalfuss (Creative Director, Vice), Sebastian Sele (Editor in Chief, Vice) and Linda Burger (Head of Commercial, Vice).
"We have grown considerably over the last two years and have increased our workforce sixfold, so it makes sense to adjust our organizational structures from time to time. We are also pleased about the new perspectives in the management," said Patrick Viert, Managing Director of Vice Switzerland, in a press release.
