Sacha Gamper will take over from Martin Oesch as Head of Programming as of January 1, 2018. Gamper has already presented at Radio Energy, was a program developer at Hitradio Ö3, was involved in setting up the Bernese station Capital FM and has been Head of Moderation & OnAir Design at FM1 since 2011. The 38-year-old's credo for the further development of FM1 is: "At FM1, the listeners are the focus. We make radio for them. And for them, we want to get better every day."

Meanwhile, the previous program director Martin Oesch has decided to concentrate on managing the music editorial department in the future and to tackle new projects outside radio. Oesch has been active in radio in eastern Switzerland for many years. The 55-year-old was already head of programming at Radio aktuell and then played a key role in the conception and development of Radio FM1. Together with his team, he succeeded in increasing FM1's audience by over 50 percent from the start of broadcasting in 2008. In a press release, the board of directors and management thank him for his great commitment and look forward to continuing to draw on his extensive radio expertise.

FM1 has 227,000 listeners per day and can be received in eastern Switzerland via FM and throughout German-speaking Switzerland via DAB+.
