"They were inspiring, instructive years and a privilege to help build the agency. Now the time has come for a reorientation," the trained copywriter, PR consultant and communications planner commented on his departure in a statement on Monday. At Formeldrei, Wüthrich worked as Creative Director Text on campaigns for BLS, Libero Tarifverbund, BFU, Parisienne, Quickline, Pro Velo Schweiz and Vifor Consumer Health. In addition, as Account Director, he looked after larger mandates for the owner-managed agency.

"Together we were able to establish an agency with twelve employees - a nice story. We regret his decision and wish him continued success," says Marco Mesot and partner Moritz Adler adds, "Kristen is a versatile copywriter and excellent team player. We thank him for his great commitment to the agency."

Wüthrich is letting the next challenge come to him. "There are options, but I'm going to take my time - paths are made when you take them. First, I'm looking forward to a sabbatical, more time with my family and new perspectives - it's been almost 20 years since my last major training."

Christian Wüthrich is leaving the agency as of January 31, 2018 and will continue to be available as a freelancer until the end of March. His team has already been expanded to include an experienced copywriter and a senior consultant with a social media background.
