Francesco Vass takes over the management of Ricardo.ch as of January

Francesco Vass will become the new CEO of Ricardo.ch as of January 1, 2018. He moves to the online marketplace from Tutti.ch. He takes over from Bodo Kipper, who will relinquish this position at the end of 2017 for private reasons.

Under his leadership, Tutti.ch has established itself as Switzerland's leading classifieds platform. Previously, the Ticino native built up the TV streaming service Zattoo as Vice President, Marketing & Content together with the founders and worked, among other things, as a consultant at McKinsey & Company. Francesco Vass studied electrical engineering at ETH Zurich, holds an MBA from INSEAD in Paris and Singapore and is a lecturer at the University of Zurich. The 43-year-old is married and the father of two children.

Under his leadership, the strategic direction of Ricardo.ch was redefined and a fundamental restructuring of the platform was launched. ricardo.ch customers benefit from a strengthened cooperation with commercial retailers and a significantly expanded range of products. Today, ricardo.ch continuously offers more than one million open offers and is constantly growing in the C2C sector. Before Bodo Kipper joined ricardo.ch in 2015, he was Head of Merchant Services at Amazon Germany.
