The Director General of SRG as well as the supervisory bodies of SRG have also approved this election. As of February 1, 2018, Martin Schneider will take over the management of Swiss TXT from Daniel Benninger, who has held this position ad interim since the resignation of Franziska Füglistaler in the fall of 2016. Daniel Benninger will continue to actively accompany and support Swiss TXT and the new CEO as a member of the Board of Directors.

With Martin Schneider, the Board of Directors was able to win a broadly networked media expert as CEO of Swiss TXT, according to a statement. Martin Schneider was CEO of Admeira until April 2017. Prior to that, he held various positions - from 2003 as CEO - at SRG subsidiary Publisuisse, which was integrated into Admeira at the end of 2015. As project manager and CEO, he played a key role in developing and building up the joint marketing company of Ringier, Swisscom and SRG.

Earlier in his career, he worked in brand management at Kraft Jacobs Suchard and on the general management board of SRG SSR as assistant to the finance director and as the person responsible for commerce. Martin Schneider studied business administration at the HSG in St. Gallen and at the ESC Lyon. He also holds an Executive MBA and further training in Social Media Management. Martin Schneider is 50 years old, married, father of a nine-year-old daughter and lives in Solothurn.
