Achill Prakash appointed Head of Marketing Communications at Swisscom

From mid-November, Achill Prakash will be the top advertiser at Swisscom. He succeeds Tim Alexander, who left Swisscom at the end of June. In Achill Prakash, Swisscom is gaining a proven marketing professional who has worked for major national and international companies for years.

Achill Prakash (40) has spent the last few years working in Zurich and London and set up his own agency in 2012. He will take over as Head of Marketing Communications at Swisscom on November 15, reporting directly to Marc Werner, Head of Sales & Service and member of the Group Executive Board.

"With Achill Prakash, we have gained a leader who can look back on extensive strategic marketing experience. Through his many years of work as head of strategy at agencies, he has also gained many impressions in different industries and companies, which he will now bring to Swisscom. However, two points tipped the scales in my favor: Firstly, Achill Prakash has a great passion for our brand. And secondly, he is a real team player," says Marc Werner, explaining his decision.

In addition to his interest in marketing, Achill Prakash's heart beats for high-quality design. He has designed and launched his own bag collection under the label Alvener, which has made it into the collection of the London department store Harrods.
