The Wirz Group is strengthening itself twice over in order to further expand its range of services in the areas of dialog marketing and brand activation.

Managing Director Amar Abbas, who has already been steering the fortunes of the consultancy since May, came from Sunrise, where as Marketing Manager Brand Communication he was responsible for the planning and implementation of CRM-driven campaigns. Previously, he was Business Development Manager at the BBDO agency Interone, which specializes in online communication, and at Scholz & Friends.

Also from Sunrise, Martin Hufschmid joined Uetlibergstrasse 132 on September 1. He has moved to Datalogue Schweiz AG, a joint venture between Wirz and Datalogue, an agency based in Hamburg and Amsterdam that specializes in data-driven customer value management and platform-neutral CRM solutions.

The Zurich native started his career at Credit Suisse before moving to the telco provider in 2011, where he was most recently Director Value Management. He is highly experienced in setting up, executing and evaluating channel-neutral, data-based marketing campaigns across the entire customer lifecycle, as well as in their tool-based automation.

Wirz Activation CEO Jörg Bewersdorff and Datalogue Switzerland CEO Andreas Hannemann are delighted: "When Amar recommended Martin to us, we knew we had to strike immediately. Together, the two of them stand for exactly what we at Wirz Activation and Datalogue are all about: Data Driven Empathy - data intelligence and the creation derived from it from a single source. This is where we see the greatest potential for the future, because we can minimize the otherwise almost inevitable frictional losses in the collaboration between CRM service providers and agencies and thus take an extreme load off our customers."
