Adriano Fernandes becomes new Sales Director (CSO) at Screen24

As of 1 July 2017, Adriano Fernandes joins Zurich-based digital-out-of-home start-up Screen24 as the new Sales Director of WerbeWeischer.

After a short career break, Fernandes will become the new Sales Director at the Zurich-based DOOH company Screen24 on 1 July 2017. The 37-year-old is a qualified business economist who completed his training in Germany. During and after his training, he worked for several years as Sales Manager at Stadtanzeiger Schwarzwald-Baar. He then worked as a sales manager at the advertising company Unio from 2009 he was sales manager at the publishing house Gourmedia in Zurich. In 2012, he successfully completed his training as a federally certified media manager at the Swiss Media Association. Most recently, Fernandes worked as Director National Sales at WerbeWeischer, where he was a member of the Executive Board.

Fernandes has several years of experience in the management of customer portfolios, the initiation and implementation of sales measures as well as in the function of department manager. In the newly created position of Sales Director, he will lead the sales team at Screen24, where he will be responsible for operational and strategic decisions in the entire sales area. "In Adriano Fernandes, we have found a very experienced sales director who will provide us with optimal support in setting up new cooperations with his know-how," said Michael Voss, CEO of Screen24, in a statement.

Screen24 (formerly Battery Doctor) is a Zurich-based start-up that offers digital-out-of-home advertising space throughout Switzerland. The company was founded in 2014 by Fredy Piller and Oliver Scheuerer, who remain the owners of the company. Operational since the beginning of 2015, Screen24 is led by CEO Michael Voss, Ringier's long-time CEO Publishing and Entertainment and member of the Group Executive Board. Screen24 offers advertising space installed on mobile phone charging stations or on screens in taxis.
