Editor-in-Chief Mark Dittli leaves Finanz und Wirtschaft

Mark Dittli has decided to hand over the editorship of the newspaper Finanz und Wirtschaft at the end of October in order to accept a new challenge outside Tamedia.

Mark Dittli had taken over as Editor-in-Chief of Finanz und Wirtschaft at the beginning of 2012. Under Mark Dittli's leadership, the offering of the business and investor newspaper was modernized and macroeconomic analysis and reporting expanded. Mark Dittli is also responsible for the successful development and expansion of Finanz und Wirtschaft's digital offering.

Mark Dittli joined Finanz und Wirtschaft in 2000 as domestic editor. He then spent five years as foreign correspondent, responsible for economic and financial reporting from the United States of America, before returning to Zurich to take over as head of the foreign editorial department. The 42-year-old Mark Dittli studied business administration at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences in Winterthur and journalism at New York University and holds a degree as a Chartered Financial Analyst.
