MCH Basel Exhibition hires Patrick Sägesser as new Head New Business
Patrick Sägesser is moving from Bernexpo to MCH Basel Exhibition, where he is to help trade fairs achieve more growth.
MCH Basel Exhibition has appointed Patrick Sägesser to the newly created position of Head of New Business as of 3 April. According to the press release, the 44-year-old will be responsible in this function for drawing up and implementing the growth strategy in the B2B trade fair sector and thus strengthening the business development activities.
According to MCH Basel Exhibition, the father of two has experience in marketing and exhibition work. In his career to date, Sägesser has held management positions at Natural and Mainbridge, among others, for Messe Frankfurt's agencies in Switzerland. In 2012, he took over the trade fair management of Sindex, Suissenautic and Suissetraffic at Bernexpo. Most recently, the Solothurn resident was responsible as Group Exhibitions Director for Bernexpo's B2B trade fair portfolio, consisting of the trade fairs Sindex, Suisse Public, Ornaris, Heimtexsuisse and the construction machinery trade fair.
