If everything goes according to plan, the shopping center will open on 28 September. It will comprise around 65,000 square meters of rental space and will house 150 stores and restaurants. Around 1100 jobs will be created in the mall. A cinema with twelve screens and various sports facilities - including an indoor surfing facility - are also planned. The building will also house 191 apartments belonging to the Migros pension fund. The land on which the mall is being built once belonged to elevator and escalator manufacturer Schindler. The money comes from a subsidiary of the Abu Dhabi sovereign wealth fund. (SDA/pd/hae)
