New organization in the management of 20 minutes Friday

Sabine Eva Wittwer, Co-Editorial Director of 20 Minuten Friday, has decided to leave the lifestyle magazine. As of July 2017, Kerstin Netsch, previously Co-Editorial Director, will take over overall editorial management of 20 Minuten Friday.

According to the press release, Sabine Eva Wittwer will go on a long trip abroad with her family and then reorient herself Wittwer started her journalistic career in 1997 with the launch of the trend magazine Soda, where she was editor-in-chief until 2000. She then worked as a copywriter and for various media titles, including 20 Minuten, Bolero, Facts, SonntagsBlick and Blick am Abend, where she was head of the magazine section.

Since its launch in October 2008, Sabine Eva Wittwer has headed the editorial team of 20 Minuten Friday together with Kerstin Netsch. Together, they built up the editorial concept of the magazine and contributed significantly to the success of the title. They continuously developed the 20 Minuten Friday brand. The online presence launched under their leadership in German and French-speaking Switzerland quickly established itself as the leading lifestyle blog for the young female target group.

As of July 2017, Kerstin Netsch will take over the overall management of the editorial department of 20 Minuten Friday and will focus on the further development of the online offering. She will continue to report directly to Marco Boselli, Head of Journalism and Processes at the 20 Minuten Group. Before joining Tamedia 13 years ago, Kerstin Netsch, who studied film and television, got her start in journalism at the Süddeutsche Zeitung's Jetzt magazine, the women's magazine Allegra and the Beobachter. In 2004, she joined the reportage department at Annabelle. In 2006, she moved to the then weekend magazine 20 Minuten Week, where she headed the editorial department from 2007. Kerstin Netsch was a member of the development team of 20 Minuten Friday and thus actively involved in the content conception and launch of the magazine.
