Jean-Claude Bruhin is the new sales manager at OAW

The NZZ subsidiary OAW in St. Gallen has hired a new sales manager, Jean-Claude Bruhin. With immediate effect, he will head the sales team of regional broadcaster TVO and will also be responsible for new projects and offers in the TV sector.

Bruhin was previously responsible in various functions for various Swiss private broadcasters and cinema marketing. "I am delighted that we have been able to recruit an experienced TV man for this function," OAW Managing Director André Moesch said in a statement. "We still see some potential in the TV sector, which we want to tackle with Jean-Claude Bruhin.".

At the same time, TVO announces that the new programming strategy is starting to show results. In January 2017, the daily reach was increased by 20 percent compared to the annual average . On weekends, increases of well over 30 percent were even achieved, the statement says. André Moesch: "We have increased the number of VJ contributions and are significantly more on site. These measures seem to have gone down well with the audience and this is now being reflected in the audience figures for the first time."
