Deborah Murith is the new Corporate Relations Manager at McDonald's Switzerland

Since the beginning of February, Deborah Murith has been leading McDonald's Switzerland's four-person communications team as Corporate Relations Manager and is responsible for the restaurant brand's media and public relations.

The 35-year-old graduated from the University of Lucerne with a degree in Social and Communication Sciences. Afterwards, Deborah Murith worked at the Federal Office of Communications - among other things as media spokesperson and deputy head of communications. She then went on to develop important foundations for internal and external communications as Head of Communications at the Education, Culture and Sports Directorate of Basel-Landschaft, where she served as media spokesperson, among other things. In addition to German, Deborah Murith is fluent in French, Italian and English. The communications expert succeeds Aglaë Strachwitz, who has been promoted to Food & Experience Marketing Manager within McDonald's Switzerland.

In her role as Corporate Relations Manager, Deborah Murith also assumes operational responsibility for the Ronald McDonald Children's Foundation, which operates seven parent homes throughout Switzerland where families of sick children can find a temporary home near the specialty hospitals.
