Rolf Lichtin becomes new CFO of Abraxas

The Board of Directors of Abraxas Informatik appoints Rolf Lichtin as CFO. The 52-year-old financial specialist succeeds Félix Mauron, who is leaving the company due to retirement, effective May 1. Lichtin currently serves as CFO for Crealogix.

"With Rolf Lichtin, Abraxas is being joined by a proven financial expert who is not only a master of his trade, but is also very familiar with the industry," says Paul Glutz, Chairman of the Board of Directors, explaining the decision. With a degree in business administration, he has experience in implementing and supporting change processes as well as in setting up and merging internal organizations.

"I know Rolf Lichtin from my time at Siemens and am therefore pleased with the decision of the Board of Directors," commented Abraxas CEO Reto Gutmann on Lichtin's appointment, adding, "His experience and skills are exactly what Abraxas needs to meet the challenges ahead."

In the course of his career, Rolf Lichtin has held various management positions at Siemens Switzerland, Trivadis and Atos IT Solutions and Services Switzerland and France. He is married with two children and lives with his family in Erlenbach ZH.

Long-time Chief Financial Officer Félix Mauron retires

At the end of March 2017, Félix Mauron will retire after more than 17 years with Abraxas Informatik. He joined Abraxas at the end of 1999 and has since been responsible for the finances and central services of the IT company. From April 2013 to the end of April 2016, he also led the company as CEO.

"Félix Mauron has had a strong influence on the development of Abraxas. On behalf of the Board of Directors and the entire staff, I would like to thank him very much for his great commitment and loyalty to Abraxas. We sincerely wish him good luck and good health for the future," said Paul Glutz, Chairman of the Board of Directors, paying tribute to the long-serving member of the company's Executive Board.
