Teleclub strengthens TV editorial team
Mevion Heim and Christophe Augsburger will be working for Teleclub as presenters and editors from February 2017.
In December 2015, Teleclub, in cooperation with Blick, invited people to the big "Dream Job" casting. The jury, led by Teleclub program director Claudia Lässer (pictured right), Teleclub expert Daniel Gygax (pictured left) and Blick head of soccer Andreas Böni, awarded the job as sports reporter together with the Internet community, which was able to vote for its favorite.
It was during this casting that Mevion Heim (pictured in the middle) was discovered as a talent. Born in Basel, he had already gained plenty of experience in the media industry as a radio presenter at Energy Basel and convinced the jury in the "Dream Job" casting with his broad knowledge of football. During his time at the radio station, his preference for sports crystallized, which he passionately expressed again and again on air. Starting with the second half of the Raiffeisen Super League season, the 26-year-old will now officially welcome viewers as a Teleclub employee. "Switching from the microphone to the camera and thus making sport my profession is both a challenge and a pleasure. I'm enormously excited about my first assignments," says Mevion Heim.
With Christophe Augsburger, Teleclub is starting the new year with another sports expert. The man from central Switzerland has been involved in sports from an early age and can look back on a career as a professional volleyball player - both with Volley Amriswil and in the national team. In addition to his experience in the event sector, he also has the necessary TV experience thanks to his many years of working for "Sport Szene Fernsehen". The 29-year-old is already in front of the camera at Teleclub as a presenter of the sports magazine "Extratime" and will also report from the stadiums as a reporter from February.
In addition, the TV editorial team of "Extratime" will receive internal reinforcement in the form of Jüri Christen. The 45-year-old from the city of Berne has been working for the company in various roles as a VJ, producer and video editor since 2009 and is now strengthening the team of presenters with his extensive product knowledge.
Mevion Heim, Christophe Augsburger and Jüri Christen thus join the editorial team of Michael Fritschi, Annette Fetscherin, Gianni Wyler, Lukas Ninck, Stefan Flückiger and Thomas Rottmeier,
