Christoph Glaus officially took up his post as Consumer PR Manager on December 1, 2016. He may be familiar to some from his time at the PR agency Richterich & Partner. He was already responsible for the Microsoft Consumer mandate there. Glaus succeeds Monika Staubli, who took up a new challenge internally on October 1, 2016.
Glaus has broad experience in journalism and media relations. After two years as a cultural journalist at Basler Zeitung, he switched to the agency side and worked for around three years at Richterich & Partner as a PR consultant with a focus on digital. This was followed, until recently, by a year as media spokesperson for the digital and health insurance sections.
Glauser on his new challenge: "I feel equally at home in the entire Microsoft universe - whether it's gaming with the Xbox, creative work with Visual Studio or OneNote, or everyday work with Windows, Office, OneDrive and the like. I feel at home in the digital environment. That's why I'm delighted to be able to take on this task.
