Seraina Kobler new on the Press Council

The Foundation Board of the Swiss Press Council has elected NZZ domestic editor Seraina Kobler as a new member of the Press Council. She replaces Franca Siegfried, who is leaving the council after four years.

Kobler studied communication at the Institute for Applied Media Sciences in Winterthur and at the University of Konstanz. She has already worked for the news department of SonntagsZeitung, written as a freelance author for various magazines (Annabelle, Züritipp, Surpise, Watson) and was a business reporter for Tages-Anzeiger. Since 2014, Kobler has been with the Neue Zürcher Zeitung and is responsible for the domestic sections Society and Consumption, Social Policy, and Justice and Police. (SDA/pd/hae)
