"Without him there would be no Museum for Communication", it says in an obituary published on Wednesday. The founding father and long-time president of the foundation board had worked tirelessly for the museum and made far-sighted decisions.

As former PTT Secretary General, Heiner Hofer was responsible for the transfer of the PTT Museum to a foundation and was its first president. (SDA)
