Rod: Annette Häcki becomes Head of Creation

Annette Häcki is taking over as Head of Creation at Rod Kommunikation with immediate effect and will therefore join the Executive Board. The 34-year-old has been working at Rod since spring 2013 and has played a decisive role in shaping various campaigns during this time.

For example, "An idea changes Switzerland" for Mobility or the "Love Life" campaign for the Federal Office of Public Health, which was probably the most talked about this year. Before Annette Häcki joined Rod, the copywriter worked for Contexta in Bern, where she designed and implemented campaigns for Appenzeller cheese, Swisslotto and CSS Insurance. Originally, the theater studies graduate wanted to become a dramaturge, but by chance and in a roundabout way she found her way into advertising via the Crafft agency.

With Annette Häcki, Rod has an official Head of Creation for the first time in its young agency history. "Rod stands for interdisciplinary campaigns that are consistently planned and implemented on different channels. The current Love Life campaign in particular is a very efficient example of how classic formats, digital media and PR strategy are consistently aligned. Annette will continue to cultivate this signature together with us," explains agency partner Oliver Fennel.

Rod Kommunikation was founded in 2007 and is wholly owned by agency partners Regula Fecker, Oliver Fennel, David Schärer and Pablo Koerfer. Named "Newcomer Agency of the Year" in 2008, Rod has been recognized with campaigns such as "Slow down. Take it easy.", "On the road at home" for the SBB or the "Love Life" campaign of the Federal Office of Public Health.
