Clear Channel and Rituals launch sweepstakes through targeted DOOH use

Outdoor marketer Clear Channel uses the screens on Bahnhofstrasse in Zurich for a special campaign with Rituals on the occasion of Night Shopping.

To avoid the huge crowds of people that have gathered in previous years, Zurich's "Lucy" Christmas lights will be lit up in the afternoon on Thursday. The Rituals raffle will run right on time for the start of "Lucy" and until the end of the Night Shopping at 9 pm.

According to a press release from Clear Channel, the campaign is running on twelve screens in the heart of Zurich and is an example of how digital out-of-home campaigns can be targeted in terms of time and geography and how they can offer direct interaction and sales opportunities in conjunction with smartphones. Digital sales promotion is currently possible at Clear Channel on 469 screens throughout Switzerland. (pd)
