SZU opts for APG|SGA and becomes more digital

Sihltal Zürich Uetliberg Bahn SZU has chosen APG|SGA as its contract partner for the next five years following a public invitation to tender. The existing and future product portfolio was put out to tender in two lots.

On December 7, 2018, SZU launched the tender "Placement of outdoor advertising on Sihltal Zürich Uetliberg Bahn SZU AG land". In Lot 1, nearly 170 existing spaces were put out to tender, most of them in the stations of the city of Zurich. APG|SGA, the winner of the tender, will convert spaces at attractive locations into digital advertising media over the next few months. New digital advertising media were put out to tender in Lot 2. APG|SGA's concept envisages additional digital screens at top locations in Zurich Central Station and Selnau Station. 

Marco Graf, Head of Marketing SZU, is looking forward to the cooperation with APG|SGA in a statement: "Not only the financial offer of APG|SGA convinced us, but also the well thought-out business concept, which was an important part of the award criteria." 

By winning the SZU tender, APG|SGA is not only expanding its position in the Digital Out of Home segment in the city of Zurich, the company remains the exclusive provider in Zurich's main station on the basis of its contracts with SBB and SZU.
