Tamedia Advertising bundles foreign advertising sales

Since January 1, 2017, Tamedia Advertising has bundled the foreign advertising marketing of all Tamedia media. In each of the core markets of Germany, Italy, France and the UK, only one marketer will be active for the media company's print and digital media. In addition, Yulia Strotmann will take up the newly created position of Head of International Sales on April 1, 2017.


Yulia Strotmann has spent the last five years as Head of Luxury Brand Marketing at Axel Springer Inc. in New York and will be responsible for the strategic expansion of advertising clients abroad at Tamedia Advertising. Advertising marketing abroad is the central responsibility of Philipp Mankowski, Chief Sales Officer National Media, for all Tamedia media.

Philipp Mankowski in a statement: "By centralizing the sales activities of our Swiss media abroad, we are offering the full range of regional, national and commuter media in print as well as digital from a single source. I am convinced that this will enable us to continue our growth course with customers from abroad and I am very happy that we have been able to gain an internationally successful marketing and sales personality in Yulia Strotmann."

Tamedia already combined all of its marketing activities under the umbrella of Tamedia Advertising in November 2016. Tamedia Advertising reaches around 80 per cent of the Swiss population in the German, French and Italian-speaking parts of Switzerland with precision targeting.
