Clear Channel and Neo Advertising become Goldbach Neo

Clear Channel Switzerland and Neo Advertising are operating under a new name following their merger: Goldbach Neo. There are also changes in the management team.

The merger of the two companies Clear Channel Switzerland and Neo Advertising to form Goldbach's new Out of Home division leads to another innovation in the outdoor advertising market. Goldbach's Board of Directors has decided on the name of the new Out of Home division: Goldbach Neo OOH AG (Goldbach Neo).

On the one hand, the new name is intended to create a reference to the established brand of Neo Advertising and, on the other hand, to designate the affiliation to the marketer Goldbach.

Extended management

As of July 1, 2023, the Executive Board will consist of the current members of Clear Channel Switzerland and will be supplemented by Florian Maas and David Auer from Neo Advertising.

  • CEO: Christoph Marty; Sales & Marketing: Diego Quintarelli; Technology, Development & Operations: Rob Furger; Finance, Controlling & HR: Tom Gibbings
  • Due to the strategic relevance of the contracts with the city, public transport and the airport in Geneva, an extended management team is formed with Florian Maas, as Directeur Suisse Romande & Ticino and David Auer, who is responsible for transformation and special projects.

Christian Vaglio-Giors moves to the Board of Directors and takes on a role as advisor to Christoph Marty.

The rights to the Clear Channel name expired with the sale to TX Group/Goldbach. Accordingly, Clear Channel Schweiz AG will become Goldbach Neo OOH AG as of June 27, 2023. The merger of Neo Advertising AG into Goldbach Neo OOH AG will take place at the end of September 2023. From this date and in time for the booking opening, the entire inventory of the previous companies can be booked under Goldbach Neo for 2024.
