Nau.ch launches Europe's fastest news app
The already announced relaunch of the Nau.ch app has been completed. According to Nau Media, it is the fastest news app in Europe. Registered users now receive a personalized feed. At the same time, the more than 120 Nau.ch local pages are prominently featured.
The online news portal Nau.ch has been steadily developed over the last five years. Of the average of over 3 million unique clients per month, Nau.ch records around 80 percent of traffic via mobile devices. In addition to a new font that guarantees maximum readability, the relaunch also brings other advantages and new elements.
After months of development, the app is now more modern and faster. The desktop view also has a new look.
"With the new app, we have reached another milestone. It is, so to speak, the Ferrari among all news apps in Switzerland," says Yves Kilchenmann, CEO of Nau Media. "Thanks to the clear structure and the new, user-friendly navigation, we completely hit the nerve of the time with the app," Kilchenmann continues.
News app with social media elements and Face ID
Users now have the option of having their news displayed in a personalized way. In the "For me" section, content is tailored to the needs of each individual user based on user behavior. The feed in the social media look is enhanced with votes and presents selected reader comments.
The social feed function is available to all registered users free of charge. Registration via Apple ID can be done easily using facial recognition or fingerprint.
Over 120 local pages with news from the region
Another innovation is launched with the menu item "Local". Behind it are the more than 120 local pages within the entire German-speaking part of Switzerland. On each local page, users will find a news mix with relevant information from the community, sports and club news, as well as the most important news in the area of local politics. The desired locality can be searched for quickly and easily using the search function or automatic location detection, and the local page is displayed. So that no news from the regions is missed, the notifications can be activated with the push notification icon.
