Calvin Stettler joins SRF Sport commentary team

Sports journalist Calvin Stettler now accompanies various sports on the SRF microphone. The 27-year-old from Aargau will be heard for the first time as a commentator at the UEFA Women's EURO 2022.

Calvin Stettler has been working for SRF Sport since 2018; first as an intern, then as a sports assistant and since 2019 as an editor. He gained his first experience in front of the camera at the end of 2020; on SRF's online channels, the 27-year-old presented the seven-part web series "Vom Spinner zum Gewinner" for young audiences. Now he complements the SRF commentary team in various sports.

The Aargauer started in journalism in 2013 on the sports desk of the Aargauer newspaper. From 2017, he worked for two and a half years as a freelance sports editor at the Tages-Anzeiger engaged. At the same time, he earned a bachelor's degree in journalism and organizational communication at the ZHAW in Winterthur.

First deployment during UEFA Women's EURO 2022

Calvin Stettler will make his debut as a commentator at the group match between Austria and Northern Ireland at UEFA Women's EURO 2022 on July 11.
