SRG: New Head of Market and Audience Research

Since the beginning of May, Jessica Allemann Brancher and Martin Spycher have jointly headed the "Analysis and Data Intelligence SRG" department. They have taken over from Caroline Kellerhals, who is leaving the company at the end of May.

Analysis and Data Intelligence (ADI) coordinates the research activities of the entire SRG enterprise. The department also advises the General Management and the SRG Executive Board on quantitative and qualitative usage research. With Jessica Allemann Brancher and Martin Spycher, ADI has had a co-head with an expanded portfolio of tasks since the beginning of this month.

Jessica Allemann Brancher has been working at SRG since 2018. Until the end of April 2022, she worked as a media research specialist in the Development and Offerings Directorate. Her main tasks were leading national research projects - also in cooperation with the regions - as well as analyzing, processing and communicating audience research data. Since 2021, she has represented SRG on the User Commission of Mediapulse. Jessica Allemann Brancher studied media and communication sciences in Fribourg, completed a CAS in data visualization and information design, and has looked at SRG from various research perspectives over the years, whether as project manager of the SRG television program analysis on behalf of Bakom or as a radio researcher at Mediapulse.

Martin Spycher has worked in various roles at SRG and its subsidiary SWISS TXT since 2009. In recent years, he has been active in the Development and Offerings Directorate as Head of Innovation and Digital Transformation Specialist. As part of his activities, he has led the introduction of the interactive TV offering as project manager and product manager, introduced the SRG Login, promoted innovation and led or supported other strategic digitization and change projects. Martin Spycher holds a degree in journalism and an Executive MBA from the University of Fribourg as well as the LEAD Certificate from Stanford University.

Caroline Kellerhals has headed ADI for the past five years. At the end of 2021, she has decided to hand over the division management and to leave SRG.
