Ringier Sports enters into partnership with Sportradar
Ringier Sports enters into a partnership with Sportradar to establish the Red streaming platform on the Swiss market.
In August 2022, the Red offering will launch with the Yapeal Promotion League and the 1st League Classic. The service will offer live streams of matches and match highlights from these competitions and will be available to fans via smartphone, tablet and laptop. Sportradar is another important piece of the puzzle for the implementation of this ambitious project: the complete Red streaming offer, including all live match highlights, game recaps and originals, will be available on the Sportradar OTT platform.
Sportradar, the world's leading sports technology company creating fascinating experiences for sports fans, will use its extensive technical capabilities to develop a dynamic OTT platform for Red. The company thus supports Ringier Sports' ambitious plans to spread the service among sports fans.
Thanks to its wealth of experience and innovative know-how, the Sportradar Group won the tender from Ringier Sports. The platform will be designed flexibly with various refinements and will offer the possibility to add more sports as needed. The streaming solution will be data-driven and tailored for Red to create a targeted and personalized viewing experience for Swiss sports fans.
Volume to grow
Sportradar's industry-leading OTT solution is fully customizable on the front-end design, i.e. the design that the user sees. On the back-end, continuous refinements can be made to increase the volume of sports content offered.
