Mobiliar CEO Michèle Rodoni new on Ringier's Board of Directors

Ringier shareholders have unanimously elected Mobiliar CEO Michèle Rodoni to Ringier's Board of Directors. She succeeds Markus Hongler, who as former CEO has been a member of the top decision-making body since Mobiliar acquired a 25 percent stake in Ringier in February 2020.

MobiliarMichèle Rodoni has been CEO of Mobiliar since August 2020. A native of Geneva with roots in Ticino, she had already been a member of Mobiliar's Executive Board since 2012 and was responsible for the pension area and market management.

Michael Ringier, publisher and Chairman of the Ringier Board of Directors, is pleased with the choice of Michèle Rodoni: "With Mobiliar's long-term support, Ringier is in a position to swiftly implement its strategy of consistently investing internationally in digital marketplaces, independent journalism and cutting-edge technologies."

The Board of Directors of Ringier consists of a total of nine members: Chairman Michael Ringier, Vice Chairman Uli Sigg, Claudio Cisullo, Lukas Gähwiler, Felix Oberholzer-Gee, Urs Berger, Laura Rudas, Roman Bargezi and Michèle Rodoni.

The Ringier family, together with CEO Marc Walder, holds the majority of the Ringier Group with a total stake of 75 percent.
