Jürgen Törkott leaves Radio Südostschweiz

After a 34-year radio career, including 25 years at Radio Südostschweiz and Radio Grischa, Jürgen Törkott is looking for a new direction. He is leaving Radio Südostschweiz at the end of July to take up a challenge in the gastronomy sector. This is a passion he has already pursued in earlier years.
However, he remains loyal to the electronic media. He is working on TV projects in Germany. He could also imagine a further engagement at Radio Südostschweiz.

According to Somedia, Jürgen Törkott has made a significant contribution to the further development of radio and to promoting cooperation between the various media. The native of Lower Bavaria can also be heard regularly at the microphone. On Wednesday evenings, together with Adrienne Krättli, Törkott hosts the program "Aussenstelle Schweiz," which is heard beyond the country's borders.
