"Help!": Podcast helps welcome refugees

Free of charge and in collaboration with Swiss Refugee Aid, Podcastschmiede produces the new audio format "Help!", which answers the most important questions about the reception of refugees. Simon Lechmann moderates.

In the first episode of "Help!", released on March 14, Eliane Engeler of Swiss Refugee Aid answers the most important questions about hosting refugees: Where do I register to offer a home? What requirements do I have to meet in order to take in a refugee or family? Is my room or apartment suitable for accommodating refugees? What do I have to provide? And what emotional challenges will I face?

In the second episode, which will be released next week, Bruno Schwaller has his say. He has driven his minibus to the Ukrainian border to take a family of five to Switzerland. He offers them shelter on his farm. What do you have to consider when the refugees move in? How does the start of living together work out?

In subsequent episodes, Simon Lechmann from Podcastschmiede will explore further questions, including those sent in by listeners.
