Côté Nature PendantWith Côté Nature French-speaking Switzerland will soon have its own version of one of Switzerland's most widely read magazines, Landliebe. Responsible for the implementation is the team around the deputy L'illustréEditor-in-Chief Caroline Zingg.

Last year, the Landliebe is celebrating its 10th anniversary - now the magazine with its stories and know-how about country life is being extended to western Switzerland. Content that is popular in German-speaking Switzerland, such as reports, hiking tips and cooking recipes, is thus being made accessible to a French-speaking readership for the first time. In the process, content is adapted from German into French as well as own reports from and for Suisse romande. The German-speaking Swiss original has been published every two months since 2011 and, with 552,000 readers*, is one of the most widely read pay magazines in Switzerland.

"Our editorial teams in Herrliberg and Lausanne will work together intensively in the future," says Landliebe-Editor-in-Chief André Frensch. "This will make us a real bilingue Landliebefamily, and I'm delighted that French-speaking readers will soon be part of it, too."

"The Landliebe is a journalistic success story," says Caroline Zingg, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of L'illustré and newly responsible for "Côté Nature". "André and his team have done an outstanding job over the last ten years. My editorial team and I are very pleased and feel it is a privilege to now bring this lovebrand to our part of Switzerland."

Like the season, the first issue is all about spring. Among other things, there are pictures of the tulip festival in the flower city of Morges, a report on a vintner's house that has been converted into a unique villa, and a portrait of a fisherman on Lac Léman with his very own fish recipes. In addition, as in every issue, there are practical do-it-yourself instructions, decorating ideas for your own four walls, and tips for taking walks and tending the garden at home.

"Côté Nature" will be published four times a year and will be available from newsstands for CHF 5. The new magazine has a planned circulation of 49,000 copies and will be published from April 6, 2022, with 100 pages. Advertisements can be booked now via Ringier Advertising.
