Gerhard Bayard becomes a member of the SRF Executive Board
Head of Human Resources Gerhard Bayard will become a full member of SRF's Executive Board as of October 1, 2021 and will thus be on an equal footing with the other members of SRF's Executive Board.
Gerhard Bayard has headed the HR directorate, which also includes SRF Training, since May 2020 and has since also been a permanent member of SRF's Extended Executive Board. Prior to taking on this role, he headed the Human Resources Management division at the Zurich University of the Arts ZHdK for around four years. Prior to that, Bayard had already worked at SRF for around 21 years - from 2010 to 2016 as Head of HR Consulting and Administration and as Deputy Head of HR.
"In the current transformation process, HR performs a crucial and central function with consulting, training and change and should therefore also be represented with one voice in important management decisions," SRF Director Nathalie Wappler is quoted as saying in a statement.
