Additional DAB+ license for French-speaking Switzerland definitely awarded

The additional DAB+ radio license for French-speaking Switzerland will go to Dabcom. This was the decision of the Federal Administrative Court, which rejected an appeal by Romandie Médias.

In a ruling published on Friday, the Federal Administrative Court states that the Federal Communications Commission Comcom correctly assessed the criteria for all applicants when awarding the new license.

The information on the relevant criteria had been clearly communicated during the tender procedure and the applicants' attention had been drawn to this. According to the Federal Administrative Court, Dabcom received the best rating for the criteria of media diversity and economic efficiency. (SDA)
