Radio Pilatus veteran Joachim Freiberg retires

Joachim Freiberg, a veteran of Radio Pilatus, will retire at the end of March 2021, as the publisher CH Media announced on Wednesday. Freiberg belonged to the Lucerne-based private radio station for 33 years.

Radio Pilatus went on the air in 1983, and Freiberg started at the station as a sales employee in 1988. In 1994, he became a member of the executive board, and three years later was appointed CEO. Later, he also took over the management of the central Swiss TV station Tele 1, according to the statement.
