Peter Rothenbühler becomes a member of the Board of Directors at Watson

FixxPunkt strengthens its Board of Directors with Peter Rothenbühler. The subsidiary of AZ Medien expanded into western Switzerland with its news portal Watson at the beginning of March.

"With our entry into the French-speaking part of Switzerland, we want to strengthen our Board of Directors with a representative from French-speaking Switzerland," Peter Wanner, Chairman of the Board of Directors, was quoted as saying in a press release. Rothenbühler is the ideal person for the job. "He is not only an experienced journalist and editorial manager, but also a profound expert on the media landscape in French-speaking Switzerland," says Wanner.

Peter Rothenbühler looks back on a long journalistic career. The former co-owner of Büro Cortesi was editor-in-chief of Schweizer Illustrierte, Sonntagsblick, and later Le Matin and Le Matin Dimanche, among others. Today, he writes nonfiction books, is a columnist for Weltwoche and the Aargauer Zeitung, and is a partner at the newspaper and magazine design firm Nata Rampazzo et Associés in Paris. Rothenbühler, 72, lives in Le Sentier, in the Vallée de Joux, and in Lausanne.
