"With our entry into the French-speaking market, we want to strengthen our Board of Directors with a representative from French-speaking Switzerland," Peter Wanner, Chairman of the Board of Directors, was quoted as saying in a press release. Rothenbühler is the ideal person for the job. "He is not only an experienced journalist and editorial manager, but also a profound connoisseur of the media landscape in French-speaking Switzerland," says Wanner.
Peter Rothenbühler can look back on a long career in journalism. The former co-owner of Büro Cortesi was editor-in-chief of Schweizer Illustrierte, Sonntagsblick and later Le Matin and Le Matin Dimanche, among others. Today he writes non-fiction books, is a columnist for Weltwoche and the Aargauer Zeitung, and is a partner in the newspaper and magazine design firm Nata Rampazzo et Associés in Paris. Rothenbühler, 72, lives in Le Sentier, the Vallée de Joux and Lausanne.
