NZZ and NZZ am Sonntag merge editorial teams
The NZZ Media Group is merging the respective business and international departments of NZZ and NZZ am Sonntag as of the beginning of 2021. The media company made the announcement on Thursday. According to a company spokeswoman, there will be no layoffs as a result of the merger.
The overall management of the economics department will be taken over by the current head of the economics department of the NZZ on SundayChanchal Biswas, will take over. The management of the new International Department will be assigned to the current Head of the International Department of NZZPeter Rásonyi, according to a press release.
The former head of the business department of the NZZ, Peter A. Fischer, will be given the job of chief economist of the NZZ Media Group, the publishing house further explained. (SDA)
