Galledia takes over "BL Verlag
The media company Galledia takes over BL Verlag AG, based in Schlieren, making it the largest provider of specialist information in the real estate and construction sector.
BL Verlag has been one of Switzerland's leading providers of specialist and specialized knowledge since it was founded in 1977. The portfolio includes the five specialist and special interest magazines at - Current technology, Architecture + Technology, idea, Dream house and Spectrooms as well as the associated special supplements and yearbooks. As part of a succession plan, owner and managing director Peter Boll is selling all shares in BL Verlag AG to the media company Galledia with retroactive effect from July 1, 2020.
Galledia takes over the portfolio of BL Verlag.
With the trade journals Real Estate Business, build intelligently and the civil engineer Galledia is one of the leading Swiss providers of specialist information in the real estate sector. With the acquisition of BL Verlag AG, Galledia can expand its leading market position and become the largest provider of qualified specialist information in the fields of real estate and construction.
Galledia can continue to count on the journalistic expertise and many years of experience of the BL Verlag team and looks forward to working with them in the future. Harald Zeindl takes over operational responsibility for the expanded magazine portfolio as Publishing Manager "Real Estate" at Galledia Fachmedien. He succeeds Peter Boll, who is taking his well-deserved retirement after 42 years as publisher.
