SRG offers a comprehensive range of information on the current pandemic situation. Now, due to the special situation, it is further adapting its offering in all language regions as of tomorrow, Monday. In particular, children's and youth programming will be expanded immediately in view of the schools closing tomorrow. The offering for older people and those interested in film and culture will also be expanded.

For example, SRF is expanding the "SRF mySchool" program in cooperation with teachers' associations, extending the successful online format "Zwei am Morge" to the TV channel SRF zwei, continuously increasing the number of explanatory videos and planning special interactive programs on the radio channels that address the current situation. In addition, virtual museum tours are being clarified, more radio plays, podcasts and request concerts will be included in the program and various other formats are to be added on an ongoing basis.

An expansion of the children's and youth offering is also taking place at RTS with more animated and documentary films for young people. The online platform "RTS Découverte" is available for distance learning. Access to archive content is also simplified. Music and film festivals that cannot currently be held live in French-speaking Switzerland are given a platform in RTS programs. In addition, RTS is including various special concerts in its programming - for example, by the "Orchestre de Chambre de Lausanne" or the "Orchestre de la Suisse Romande". And a special information program for young people will be launched soon.

RSI is also adapting its programming in Italian-speaking Switzerland. In the mornings, for example, RSI LA 2 offers a special program for gymnastics suitable for children and senior citizens. During the day and in the evenings, RSI offers local TV series, popular feature films and dialect comedies. Music and literary evenings are also being developed. Interactive programs are broadcast on the radio to help alleviate people's situations. The same offer will be implemented on the online platforms.

For Rhaeto-Romanic Switzerland, RTR operates a special and well-visited pandemic landing page. And RTR is also expanding its youth programming: For example, more animated films are being shown in Romansh and more radio plays and request concerts are being broadcast.

Finally, SRG is increasing the amount of Swiss music on all its stations to support Swiss artists.

The programming adjustments will be made successively starting tomorrow, Monday, March 16, 2020.
