Because of Corona danger: SRF thins out audience series
The coronavirus also has an impact on Swiss Radio and Television (SRF): From now on, every second seat will remain empty during television broadcasts with an audience.
With immediate effect, SRF will significantly reduce the number of guests admitted to all productions with audience participation, SRF announced on Wednesday upon request. It thus confirmed a corresponding report from Nau.ch.
Viewers in the studio or on location for outside productions will be seated at least one chair's width apart. Affected are for example "Arena", "May I have the pleasure?", "Persönlich" and "Sportpanorama".
The goal, he says, is to keep the productions in their original format as much as possible. SRF is constantly monitoring developments. In an emergency, it will also dispense with audience participation altogether. (SDA)
