Sara Wicki is the new host of the show "Unterwegs
From summer 2020, Sara Wicki will be the new host of the "Unterwegs" show on Tele 1. The 30-year-old has already been working as a news presenter and video journalist at the station for four years. In the summer, she will take over from Fabienne Bamert.
For almost ten years, the entertainment show "Unterwegs" has been an integral part of Tele 1's programming. Fabienne Bamert will still be on "Unterwegs" until the middle of the year, before she moves entirely to Swiss radio and television. From summer 2020, Sara Wicki will take over and present people and stories from Central Switzerland. The show reaches just under 60,000 viewers every Sunday.
Sara Wicki has already worked on the show alongside Kurt Zurfluh, who died in 2017. The 30-year-old is excited about the new task: "It's a great honor to follow in the footsteps of Kurt Zurfluh and Fabienne Bamert. It will be an exciting challenge for me, which I am very happy to accept. I'm looking forward to interesting encounters and conversations as well as great experiences."
Sara Wicki from Sursee has been hosting the "News" program at Tele 1 for three years and has been working behind the camera as a reporter for various broadcast formats for over four years.
