Carola Ettenreich becomes a member of the NZZ Editorial Board and Head of Operations

Carola Ettenreich, who has been with the NZZ since 2011, will be appointed to the Editorial Board as of May 1, 2019. She is thus now responsible for editorial management (Head of Operations).

In her new role, Carola Ettenreich, previously a staff member of the Editor-in-Chief with a focus on controlling and projects, is responsible for all operational matters of the editorial department of the New Zurich Newspaper. On the editorial side, she will thus be the central contact person for the HR, Finance and Marketing departments for the implementation of cross-departmental projects. "We are delighted to have been able to recruit Carola Ettenreich for this important position within the editorial team," says Eric Gujer, Editor-in-Chief of the NZZ. "Thanks to her broad expertise and several years of experience on the staff of the Editor-in-Chief, she is the ideal person for the newly created position."

Before joining the NZZ in 2011, Carola Ettenreich was responsible for operations and finance at the IT startup Wuala. Before that, she worked in management positions at BP Switzerland and Aldi Suisse, among others. Carola Ettenreich studied music at the Hochschule für Musik Würzburg and culture and media management at the HFMT Hamburg. She also completed continuing education courses at the HWZ in the areas of controlling and big data analysis.
