At the same time, a new employee has also joined the Blick Group's social media team. He takes care of the online reporting around e-sports on the various channels of the Blick Group. "With the expanded offering, we can serve eSports enthusiasts even better and further expand the German-speaking community. We see great growth potential here for our media brands," says Roger Hämmerli, Head of Social Media at Blick Group. E-sports is growing rapidly worldwide, but also in Switzerland, Germany and Austria.

The needs of the e-sports community are the focus of reporting. In order to respond to this in the best possible way, a variety of content is offered. "We rely on a content mix: this includes livestreams, video content, reports, interviews and home stories with well-known gamers," says Hämmerli. Own tournament formats such as the View E-Sports Cupthe largest live e-sports event in Switzerland, form an integral part of the offering. "With e-sports events and tournaments, we want to offer both the community and the players a platform and build a bridge between gamers, companies and spectators," explains Lukas Troxler, Head of Product Management Sports.

On August 30, Blick E-Sports will produce the first big livestream with a talk round, many studio guests and gaming, which will be shown on Blick.ch, Twitch and Facebook.
