MAZ certifies online and social media editors
20 participants completed the twelve-day online editor or social media editor training course led by Rafael Azzati at MAZ - The Swiss School of Journalism.
At the end of June, the MAZ certified 11 graduates of the compact social media editor course. The participants dealt with strategies and concepts of user-oriented online media. They learned the basics of content marketing and storytelling. And they learned how to prepare content in a media- and user-friendly way and how to plan it efficiently. "Exciting, helpful, practical," says Nadine Stämpfli from Park Hotel Vitznau, commenting on the course.

Nine graduates also completed the Online Editor compact course at the end of June. The participants learned about the conceptual and strategic tools for the successful use of dialog media in the company. In addition, they received an overview of the technical basics for the operation of corporate websites and were taught the key facts of search engine optimization. They expanded their skills in dealing with the most important networks and platforms and learned how to assess their use in practice for their own company by means of best-practice reference examples. Sandra Elmiger from Pirmin Jung Ingenieure concluded: "Have rarely learned so much in one course, this applies to all modules. Thank you!".
