AZ Medien acquires Radio Argovia, Radio 24 and Virgin Radio Switzerland from BT Holding
AZ Medien is taking over Radio Argovia, Radio 24 and Virgin Radio Switzerland from BT Holding with retroactive effect from 01.01.2018. There will be no changes to the organization and structure.
Managing Director Radio will remain Florian Wanner, who will continue to report to Roger Elsener, Managing Director AZ Medien | TV & Radio. According to the press release, the parties have agreed not to disclose the contents of the contract. Back in January 2016, it was decided to strategically tie Radio Argovia and Radio 24 closer to AZ Medien and to integrate them organizationally in 2017. At the same time, a joint strategy process was initiated. The two local radio stations Radio Argovia, Radio 24 and Virgin Radio Switzerland with the two stations Virgin Radio Rock and Virgin Radio Hits will now also be legally transferred to AZ Medien with retroactive effect from January 1, 2018.
