In the future, Mobiliar customers will benefit from the digitized knowledge of Beobachter Verlag. For years, knowledge from consulting activities, editorial reports in the magazine, and comprehensive expertise from more than 80 guidebooks has been documented and digitized. Mobiliar customers can access this knowledge via their personal account, find suitable solutions, and download fact sheets or sample templates as needed.

With its paid legal advice platform Guider, the Observer is one of the "LegalTech" pioneers in Switzerland. In 2017 alone, Guider.ch recorded 1.25 million users. Guider provides around-the-clock, easy and efficient access to around 4,000 up-to-date contents from 11 legal areas - including useful contract templates, fact sheets, sample letters and checklists - with just a few clicks. The service is supplemented by personal legal and life advice via telephone and e-mail.

As part of the cooperation, Mobiliar is developing its own consulting platform together with Beobachter. The module will be integrated into the digital Mobiliar world. Employees of Mobiliar subsidiary Protekta Rechtsschutzversicherung will provide personal advice to Mobiliar customers. The launch in German-speaking Switzerland is planned for fall 2018. An expansion of the service to other regions of the country is not ruled out, according to the statement.

"With the new advisory platform, our more than 2 million customers will benefit from an additional service in personal legal advice in the future. And with the proven Mobiliar and Beobachter quality," says Patric Deflorin, Head of Insurance and Member of the Mobiliar Management Board.

Ringier and Mobiliar have already been running a joint venture with the online marketplace network Scout24 Switzerland since 2016.
