Weltwoche brings Steve Bannon to Zurich for a lecture
Weltwoche is bringing Steve Bannon, the ex-strategist of US President Donald Trump, to Zurich. The exact location of the lecture on March 6 is still a secret. Only registered participants will find out the venue.
Roger Köppel, editor-in-chief and publisher of the Weltwoche, published the advance notice on Facebook on Wednesday. According to the announcement, this will be Bannon's first public appearance in Europe. According to the preview, reported by several media, the former chief strategist of Donald Trump will talk about his time in the White House.
Trump had fired his controversial right-wing chief strategist in August 2017. Bannon played a significant role in Trump's election victory: He was head of Trump's campaign team from August 2016.
